Acts 21
33 The commander came up and arrested him and ordered him to be bound with two chains. Then he asked who he was and what he had done. 34 Some in the crowd shouted one thing and some another, and since the commander could not get at the truth because of the uproar, he ordered that Paul be taken into the barracks. 35 When Paul reached the steps, the violence of the mob was so great he had to be carried by the soldiers. 36 The crowd that followed kept shouting, “Get rid of him!”
We pray for Lebanon, Gaza, Iran and Israel, Ukraine and Russia, Yemen, Sudan, Afghanistan, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and all countries in a war zone, for refugees, for the homeless, for the hungry, for justice, for those fighting climate change; for our counties, for our families and friends and ourselves. Send your angels to stand with us at this time we pray. Amen

33 Le commandant s'approcha, l'arrêta et ordonna de le lier de deux chaînes. Puis il demanda qui il était et ce qu'il avait fait. 34 Dans la foule, les uns criaient une chose, les autres une autre. Mais comme le commandant ne pouvait pas obtenir la vérité à cause du tumulte, il ordonna qu'on emmène Paul dans la forteresse. 35 Lorsque Paul atteignit les marches, la violence de la foule était telle qu'il dut être porté par les soldats. 36 La foule qui le suivait ne cessait de crier : « Débarrassez-vous de lui ! »
