Acts 16
38 The officers reported this to the magistrates, and when they heard that Paul and Silas were Roman citizens, they were alarmed. 39 They came to appease them and escorted them from the prison, requesting them to leave the city. 40 After Paul and Silas came out of the prison, they went to Lydia’s house, where they met with the brothers and sisters and encouraged them. Then they left.
We pray for all those we carry in our hearts. We pray for the UK dealing with riots, all countries at war, Gaza and Ukraine, Israel and Russia, for elections in the US and France, for Iran, Afghanistan, Sudan, Ethiopia, Myanmar, for China and India, for those working for peace and justice, for work to halt climate change, for refugees and asylum seekers, for the homeless, the hungry, the distressed. Spirit of the Living God be beside us at this time. In Jesus Name we pray.
