God has called us
To celebrate Gods presence
In our lives and the world
To love and serve others
To seek justice and resist the destructive
To live the life of Christ
By the presence of Gods Spirit within us

Acts 15
36 Sometime later Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us go back and visit the believers in all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord and see how they are doing.” 37 Barnabas wanted to take John, also called Mark, with them, 38 but Paul did not think it wise to take him, because he had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not continued with them in the work. 39 They had such a sharp disagreement that they parted company. Barnabas took Mark and sailed for Cyprus,40 but Paul chose Silas and left, commended by the believers to the grace of the Lord. 41 He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.
We pray for all those we carry in our hearts. We pray for the UK dealing with riots, all countries at war, Gaza and Ukraine, for elections in the US and France, for Iran, Afghanistan, Sudan, Ethiopia, Myanmar, for China and Russia, and India, for those working for peace and justice, for work to halt climate change, for refugees and asylum seekers, for the homeless, the hungry, the distressed. Spirit of the Living God be beside us at this time. In Jesus Name we pray.

36 Et quelques jours après, Paul dit à Barnabas : Retournons rendre visite à nos frères dans chaque ville où nous avons prêché la parole de l'Éternel, et voyons comment ils agissent. 37 Et Barnabas résolut d'emmener avec eux Jean, surnommé Marc. 38 Mais Paul ne trouva pas bon de l'emmener avec eux, qui les quitta de Pamphylie et ne les accompagna pas à l'œuvre. 39 Ils eurent un tel désaccord qu’ils se séparèrent. Barnabas prit Marc et s'embarqua pour Chypre, 40 mais Paul choisit Silas et partit, étant recommandé par les croyants à la grâce de Dieu. 41 Il parcourut la Syrie et la Cilicie, fortifiant les églises.
Nous prions pour tous ceux que nous portons dans nos cœurs. Nous sommes pour que la Grande-Bretagne s'attaque aux insurrections, à tous les pays en guerre, à Gaza et en Ukraine, pour des élections aux États-Unis et en France, pour l'Iran, l'Afghanistan, le Soudan, l'Éthiopie, le Myanmar, pour la Chine, la Russie et l'Inde, pour ceux qui travaillent pour la paix. Nous prions. Et la justice, pour lutter contre le changement climatique, pour les réfugiés et les demandeurs d’asile, pour les sans-abri, les affamés et les plus vulnérables. Que l'Esprit du Dieu vivant soit avec nous en ce moment. Nous prions au nom de Jésus.
