Loving God move us to comfort those who are caught in war.
Those held captive
Those facing hatred and intolerance
For the over 100 million fleeing for their lives
For strangers in our lands
For those in refugee camps
For those on dangerous journeys for safety
For their families
Melt our hard hearts to create welcome and change

We say the Lord’s Prayer in our own language
Acts 9v 17 Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord—Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here—has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized,19 and after taking some food, he regained his strength.
We pray for all those we carry in our hearts.
We pray for peace in Gaza and Ukraine and all countries at war, for work to halt climate change, for the 100 million people who are refugees or asylum seekers, for the homeless, the hungry, the distressed, for the UK, France and US at election time. Spirit of the Living God be beside us at this time. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen
