Acts 6 8 Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people.9 Opposition arose, however, from members of the Synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called)—Jews of Cyrene and Alexandria as well as the provinces of Cilicia and Asia—who began to argue with Stephen. 10 But they could not stand up against the wisdom the Spirit gave him as he spoke.
We pray for all those we carry in our hearts.
We pray for peace in Gaza, for Israeli hostages and their families, for peace in Ukraine, Russia, for Lebanon, Syria, Afghanistan, Iran, Yemen, for Hong Kong, China, for South Africa; for work to halt climate change, for the 100 million people who are refugees or asylum seekers, for the homeless, the hungry, the distressed.
Spirit of the Living God be beside us at this time. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen
