1. I too am a mortal, the same as all the rest, and a descendant of the first one formed of earth. And in my mother’s womb I was moulded into flesh
We pray for peace in Gaza, for Israeli hostages, for peace in Ukraine, Russia, for Lebanon, Syria, Afghanistan, Iran, Yemen, for Hong Kong, China; for work to halt climate change, for the 100 million people who are refugees or asylum seekers, for the homeless, the hungry, the distressed. We pray for all who are anxious. Give them your peace and calm in their hearts. Have your hand upon us, our homes and our loved ones. Be with us all we pray this day and every day. Amen.
