You entrusted the earth to us
And we have destroyed it

Reading Psalm 10
17 You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted;
you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,
18 defending the fatherless and the oppressed,
so that mere earthly mortals
will never again strike terror.
We pray for Israelis and Palestinians, for Ukrainians and Russians, For Syria, for Ethiopia, for Kosova and Serbia and all places where there is war. We pray for peace makers and humanitarian corridors, for the children and the terrified and for people of good will to work together to change the world.
Send you Spirit to heal bodies, minds and spirits and help people to turn away from what harms them. Let your angels be beside them and us at this time and protect us. In Jesus Name we pray.
In the depth of silence
No words are needed
We are just called to listen
And in the midst of confusion
To hear your voice. Amen.
