Reading Psalm 49
But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead;
he will surely take me to himself.
16 Do not be overawed when others grow rich,
when the splendour of their houses increases;
17 for they will take nothing with them when they die,
their splendour will not descend with them.
18 Though while they live they count themselves blessed—
and people praise you when you prosper—
19 they will join those who have gone before them,
who will never again see the light of life.
20 People who have wealth but lack understanding
are like the beasts that perish.
We pray for all those we know who need our help and prayers who we carry in our hearts today. For those who cant afford fuel, food or housing, for those on strike, those suffering in the heatwaves hurricanes and fires, for Palestine and Gaza, Ukraine, Russia, Myanmar, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Myanmar, the Rohingyas, the Uyghurs, Belarus, Iran, the US, Afghanistan, the UK, our own country, doctors, those confronting injustice, and pressing issues of climate change, for the millions of refugees, the homeless and despairing, our own families, friends and ourselves…Spirit of the Living God present with us now enter our bodies, minds and spirits and heal us of all that harms us. Let your angels be beside us at this time. Amen

Mais Dieu me rachètera du royaume des morts ;

16 Ne vous laissez pas intimider lorsque d’autres s’enrichissent,

Nous prions pour tous ceux que nous connaissons qui ont besoin de notre aide et de nos prières et que nous portons dans nos cœurs aujourd'hui. Pour ceux qui n'ont pas les moyens d'acheter du carburant, de la nourriture ou un logement, pour ceux qui sont en grève, pour ceux qui souffrent des vagues de chaleur, des ouragans et des incendies, pour la Palestine et Gaza, l'Ukraine, la Russie, le Myanmar, la Chine, Taiwan, Hong Kong, l'Inde, le Myanmar, les Rohingyas, les Ouïghours, la Biélorussie, l'Iran, les États-Unis, l'Afghanistan, le Royaume-Uni, notre propre pays, les médecins, ceux qui sont confrontés à l'injustice et aux problèmes urgents du changement climatique, pour les millions de réfugiés, les sans-abri et les désespérés, nos propres familles, nos amis et nous-mêmes …L'Esprit du Dieu vivant présent avec nous entre maintenant dans notre corps, notre esprit et notre esprit et nous guérit de tout ce qui nous fait du mal.
