Creator God I come before you
And seek your peace
Let me be still in your presence
The Holy One who is here
Song “Psalm 23”
As I come before your throne
Bow down before you
May my prayers rise up to you
And your blessings rain down upon me
We say the Lord’s Prayer in our own language
Psalm 28
Blessed be the Lord,
Because He has heard the sound of my pleading.
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart triumphs,
And with my song I shall thank Him.
8 The Lord is their strength,
And He is a refuge of salvation to His anointed.
9 Save Your people and bless Your inheritance;
Be their shepherd also, and carry them forever.
We pray for all those we know who need our help and prayers ….and the many others we carry in our hearts.
For the asylum seekers to be deported to Rwanda, for Ukraine, Russia, Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, Palestine, Myanmar, the Rohingyas, the Uighurs, Hong Kong, Belarus, Ethiopia, Chad, Nigeria, our own country, climate change, doctors and nurses, carers, teachers, those confronting injustice, our families and friends and ourselves…
Spirit of the Living God present with us now enter our bodies, minds and spirits and heal us of all that harms us. Let your angels be beside us at this time. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen
Song “We labour unto Glory”
Put fire in our hearts
And sends us your Spirit
To renew our hopes and dreams
To remind us that a new way is always possible
In life, in death and beyond death
God is with us.
In Jesus Name we pray
Amen.
