We thank you for the morning Light and evening rest
We begin and end our day by praising and thanking you
Open our hearts and our minds
To your creative healing Spirit
Song “He will hold me fast”
Loving God
We often get it wrong
Come within us
And heal and forgive us
So that we may know
Your joy and your peace
We say the Lord’s Prayer in our own language
Reading 1 Corinthians 15
That which you sow does not come to life unless it dies; 37 and that which you sow, you do not sow the body which is to be, but a bare grain, perhaps of wheat or of something else.
We pray for people and situations we are concerned about; for those living with war and conflict, Ukraine, Russia, Yemen, Palestine, Myanmar, Rohingyas, Uighurs, Hong Kong, Belarus, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Syria, Iran, Afghanistan, for our own country, for those facing climate change disasters, for those with Covid, for doctors and nurses, carers, for refugees and the homeless and those hungry, and tormented.
Spirit of the Living God present with us now, enter our bodies, minds and spirits and heal us of all that harms us. Let your angels be beside us at this time. In Jesus Name we pray.
Song “There is nothing to fear”
God to enfold me
God to surround me
God in my sleeping
God in my waking
God in my watching
God in my hoping
God in my life
God in my soul
God in my heart
