We humbly thank you for this day
Help us not to waste it
But offer our praise to you

Prayer for Gods help
Forgive us
We often choose the wrong way
And we are confused, angry and sad

Reading 1 Corinthians 3v7
So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labour. 9 For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.
Our Prayers
We pray for people and situations that are on our hearts today including the election in the US, ongoing lockdown, those with Covid19, those going to school, the shooting of black people in the US, the chaotic weather, desperate people crossing the sea in dinghies, continuing deaths from Covid19, Greece, Turkey, Belarus, Hong Kong, Syria, Nigeria and Yemen, Armenia and Azerbaijan, the rise of fascism, the government, the Rohinga Muslims, Muslims being persecuted in China, protection for key workers and adequate PPE, protection for Black and Asian people, for people on low or no incomes, for those with underlying health conditions and those over 60, care for those who are alone and those suffering with depression, protection for asylum seekers and refugees and ensuring that food is reaching the vulnerable…and global warming.
May we not fail you though we face great dangers Give us your peace, your wisdom and your strength. Amen
