The world belongs to God
The earth and all it’s peoples

Justice and Peace join hands
Love and faith come together

If the Lords disciples keep silent

These very stones would shout aloud

God open our lips

And our mouths shall show forth your praise

Make me a clean heart 

And renew a right Spirit within me

Give us again our joy

Reading Psalm 3

Lord, how many are my foes!
    How many rise up against me!
2 Many are saying of me,
    “God will not deliver him.”[b]

3 But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
    my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
4 I call out to the Lord,
    and he answers me from his holy mountain.

5 I lie down and sleep;
    I wake again, because the Lordsustains me.
6 I will not fear though tens of thousands
    assail me on every side.

Prayer

O Christ the master carpenter who through wood and nails purchased our salvation, wield well your tools in the workshop of your world so that we who come rough hewn to your bench may be fashioned to a truer beauty of your hand. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

We will rejoice and be glad in it

We will not offer to God offerings that count as nothing 

Go in peace to love and serve the Lord

We will seek peace and pursue it.
