I million young people out of work or training
I feel despair at what this government is doing with a mandate of 22% of the vote. The fact that there are now 1million young people between 16-25 years who are neither in work or training is not only destructive to those young people lives but destructive to society. Labour had introduced Future Skills which was axed by the Coalition. Now they are going to recreate it in the old YTS form, but take away money from Working Tax Credit! I thought they were trying to encourage people back to work? Working Tax Credit has given loads of families a decent basic standard of living and was introduced by a previous Tory government!
